The Morning Call
Last week I spoke on holiday destinations in Africa , well today again I will giving more insights on place this to visit this season .
Africa with its expansive landscapes and formidable animal life, as so much to offer in terms of holiday and tourism
My first stop today is to the Ikogosi Warm Spring, Ekiti, Nigeria is a natural wonder, warm water spring flows side by side with a cold spring.
The spot where the two springs merge is a distinctive attraction. The resort situated around the warm spring has various accommodation and recreational facilities suitable for a family vacation.
Sossusvlei Dunes, Namibia cannot be left off the list. Literally translated as “the gathering place of water”, it has one of the most outstanding attractions. The dunes have developed over millions of years as a result of material flowing from the Orange River into the Atlantic.
Victoria Falls, Zambia cannot be over emphasized it’s simply liquid awesomeness.
It is a majestic water spectacle. Victoria Falls (also called Mosi-oa- Tunya, or The Cloud That Thunders) enjoyed the spray from the 108-meter high cascade, which was once recorded flowing at 12,800 cubic meters per second double that of Niagara’s highest flow.
For those fascinated by walls and ancient civilisation, the Pyramids of Giza,Egypt is the place to go.
The most famous of the structures at Giza, near Cairo, the Pyramid of King Cheops was built around 2650 BC from 2.5million blocks of limestone. Its sides are oriented exactly to the north, south, east and west.
